get on it, girlie! and start looking for bargains on the inspiron 6000. dk says that, pc-wise, it's the best bet -- most bang for your buck and will last you years. not to mention that you can do anything on it. i got one and love it; don't tell DK, but he's getting one for his birthday. :)
