So I think I've gone completely around the bend.
Friday night I broke down, went out and bought some coconut rum and started making myself Dusie's cocktails in pint glasses. Good golly.
This weekend I started watching True Blood, because my coworker The Crimson Conquest and I decided that we should try to do something together out of work and maybe watching Season 2 would be it. So there's a character whose mom is an alcoholic, and she really believes it's a demon that makes her drink and goes for a $450 exorcism done in a bus out in the woods by a juju woman. And then I was all "That is NOT an evidence-based practice!" Then I started to wonder how you could do motivational interviewing or even treat a client who claimed there was a demon inside her who made her drink. Then there was the hysterical laughter when the character announced she'd been to AA, but it was "nothing but a cult!"
Please make it be over soon.

Let's try that one again, since my prior effort doesn't seem to have been in English.
Motivational interview with a client who claims that a demon makes her drink? Sounds straight out of Tanya Huff. She'd get a trilogy out of it.
I got the drift on the first try.
I remember those Tanya Huff books--she certainly was a trailblazer in urban fantasy.
