We're always busting out the mid-century modern here, but hello! Tours of the Hotel Valley Ho! At $20 it's a bit expensive, but I think it's worth it. Less than the $200 to stay there, plus you learn about the fabulous mid-century design and the 2005 renovation. To bad Trader Vic's doesn't serve lunch, but there's a fancy restaurant at the hotel. Hmmm.
ASU has a cool design exhibit, but it's only next week, weekdays 8-5pm. Boo!
Our light rail is drunken party central, but tomorrow night it promises to be filled with ZOMBIES. I am riding, and Anners is thinking about joining me. Aces? Wende?

Are you riding anywhere particular and does this require a costume?
The Clarendon's hosting a Hallowe'en party starting around sunset, with $10 admission before 8 p.m.
Not my style, but you should go. My style is a leisurely ride down to Christown Zombie Mall, getting a hot drink, and riding home.
Although it's so cold, I'm rethinking that.
It's not my style either, if you've seen the photos! Do I look like the kind of girl who dresses as a sexy devil? I do not.
I'm debating whether to buy Halloween candy in case we have trick-or-treaters (the Neighbors have sworn they will too) or hauling you out to ride light rail. Or we could go get a hot drink somewhere and watch people make fools of themselves.
Want to come over for Costco chicken & baked potatoes/veg? We can decide if we dare venture out afterwards. I am going over to buy it now, so drop by after 5pm. I am so lazy I didn't take a shower until 3:30.
I'll be by around 5:30. I just bought candy, but the Neighbors have promised to take it to work if it's not used. (No, I don't eat Halloween candy.)
Actually, I'm going to renege -- I'm just not in the mood to go out, and the wine I had with lunch is hitting hard.
More chicken for me & the cat! More internet fights on a Saturday evening!
