Wardrobe Prattle, 3

Your Wardrobe

In three bullet points, what is the problem with your wardrobe?

I buy haphazardly.
I wear the same things over and over like a demented Frenchie.
I'm hard on my clothes and wind up with strains, tears, rundown heels, fading, and then I can't find replacements.

If your wardrobe could speak, what would it say is the problem?

You go for the pretty over the practical every time, don't you? And by the way, we are clothes, we are meant to be worn, not kept like a museum collection.

What one thing do you want your wardrobe to do more of?

I want it to spend less time hanging out in my closet being schlumpy, and more time out and about going places with me and looking smart.

What do you want people to say about your look?

I want people to say "oh, of course that's Kerry." That it supports my personality, basically, like my tourmaline ring. Here it is:

And here's the story, with abbreviated background--I was with my sisters who had their own jewelry pursuits at Earth Treasures, and I I don't wear a lot of jewelry, but I fell for this. It makes me happy every time I look at it--it's pink, it's delicate, it's intricate, it looks like a cloud or a flower or just a really pretty shaded mosaic--and my sister Dusie said, "I can't think of anything in this store that is more you." It's wearable art.

Hi Kerry, Karen from In Knitting News stopping by to say Hi. I'm also doing WT. Love the pink ring.

I hear you on wearing clothes hard, them wearing out and then not being able to find replacements.

Take care.

I love the idea of buying clothes that are just YOU. I need to do that more often. And if that sparkly pink ring is you, I can't wait to see some more pictures of some you-type clothing!
