Spurred by a conversation about a coworker's in law who is getting a PhD in Celtic languages (the scorn flowed from those who know him and those who don't ), I wrote the following on Anner's board:
"Engineers: Yea Or Nay? Geekery: Science Or Humanities? Yea Or Nay?"
This horror story brings shivers to us all.

I did, Genevieve. I'd written essentially the same thing as my posted comment but didn't like how I'd phrased it.
Ick. I've had the opportunity to observe an acquaintance in a semi-open relationship. It's...awkward.
