I Need Some Baking Advice

So, I really like this Bourbon Pumpkin Bread recipe in theory, but the 2 cups of agave syrup make it mighty expensive. Any ideas for a sub? I'm also not sure about the whole 3 loaves thing, but hey, we can't make too many changes before confusion sets in. I am thinking about taking it to a community meal this weekend.
