So I'm out rusticatin' in the suburbs for a week. Not the Marlboro Mesa--I am dog sitting for a friend who lives in Apache Junction. This is one of those suburbs that grew ridiculously in the last 10 years, connected to the outer rim of suburbs by a 4 lane highway. It's in the foothills of the Superstition Mountains--there's a beautiful view from the front yard. The dog is a charming Golden Retriever named Rocky. I will post pictures of both the view and the dog later this week.
They loaned me the car so I could go back and forth to work, so I drop by before and after work to take care of the cats. Although Rocky would really have liked it if I brought Cain. He is fascinated by cats.
