Kerry Reads The Paper!

There are a couple of older stories I really liked.

Performance artists almost put a store out of business. They bought all the stock for their art project, but the unintended consequence was that the store has no product and is on the brink of going under.

Groupon is a highly regimented joke writing business as well as a coupon seller. Which is weird, because I don't even read the "funny" descriptions of the product or deals--I usually know just from the location, price, and product if I want to purchase it or not. But I know of some people who could do a great job of writing the descriptions--Bridget Callahan, I think a future job is calling you.

Yeah that groupon thing makes no sense. I just subscribed to yipit, which is an aggregation service for groupon-type sites and found a class I wanted to get, and it took me a couple minutes to realize the coupon was from somewhere else because the description just told me what I wanted to know about the class. Nothing else.
