Links: Let's Hit New York Edition

I want this apartment. It is so cool, and has such a pretty view.

And in more NY tiny space news, a totally charming treehouse for grownups.

More tiny houses!

Jewelry with extinct hunting dogs?

Victorian eye jewelry?

And continuing that vibe, check out this artist's amazing peacock sculptures.

By the way, The Hairpin also has this great new holiday column called "What Old Book Do I Read If...? Oh, just read The Hairpin--they have an amazing variety of stories.

Sloane Crosley tells a tale of teenage Christmas drunkeness.

There's a great exhibit of Ezra Jack Keats' illustration work showing too. He's the groundbreaking author illustrator of The Snowy Day, which was a big deal when it was published in 1962 because it showed an African American boy enjoying the snowfall.

Obviously we should all be in New York right now. Or perhaps Vegas.

David Malki! ran a contest in which he challenged readers to reinact his comics.

And totally heartwarming, a baby bat is being hand raised after his mama abandons him.
