If Only Women Could Vote, I'd Vote For You--Be My Valentine!

I went over to SuperC's tonight, as she kindly invited me for dinner. She has an awesome collection of Valentines sent and received by her family from the 1910's throughout the 1940's. Oh, the designs! I think my favorite was one of the above, the suffragette valentine.

Viktor Schreckengost, 1906-2008

Viktor Schreckengost died on Saturday. If you've never heard of him, he's the father of American industrial design and a Cleveland treasure. Take a look at his gallery. His designs blend form, function, efficiency and beauty. The man did flippin' everything. Amazing.
