How this shook out--Twitter people are just as flakey as Craigslist people. The guy I was going to GIVE these tickets to did not show, call or text me. I wound up selling them for $20 each to a pair of women in their mid-forties. I did tell them my tale of woe first. Note to self: Things you have may have actual cash money value, no matter what your initial gut reaction.
