I sometimes like bland Lipton tea with lemon and sugar, but tend to be low on lemons. (No, really!) So I had an idea--carefully peel the rind off two lemons and let them dry out on the counter for a day. The whir them in the food processor with 2 cups sugar. Ta da! Suitable for adding a little something to sliced strawberries, adding to tea, or rolling cookies in.

Sounds great, almost too easy to be true! Also, The Kitchn just posted a recipe for preserved lemons and I thought of you, I don't know how much Middle Eastern cooking you do but it's another option for using up those lemons.
