I have a couple of recommendations for blogs I came across lately that wowed me.
Scratch and Peck is illustrator Lauren Scheuer's story of life with a flock of chickens. Told with a totally charming combination of photos and sketches, this is beautifully written and thought-provoking journal of animal life.
The Rich Life (on a budget) is a fun look at one woman's life. Adrienne is a sharp cookie with lots of tips to crib from, like her lip smoother recipe and her refashioning of the Blue Dress. Her piece on making friends this week is proving to be the poke in the hiney I need.
Pleasing My Palate covers Michael's cooking adventures in NYC. He's the partner of Peter from Male Pattern Boldnessa hilarious sewing blog. The family that blogs together...
All have pretty short backfiles so you can get up to date quickly.
