I just ate probably the last strawberries of my season. While they will be in stores, they won't be anywhere close to ripe. On the plus side, I did buy my first cherries of the season, little red ones from California. I think I will be making a cherry cornmeal upside down cake with them.
All of you with farmers' markets and CSAs coming into the season should feel free to gloat.
